I’m really enjoying this cat fountain! Before I ordered it, I was almost certain that going cordless would be a great feature, and so far, I think it really is! The power doesn’t seem to be affected at all, and the rechargeable battery life has been reasonable. The biggest benefit is being able to place it anywhere we choose without being restricted by a cord.

We’ve only had to clean it a couple of times so far and the smooth plastic surfaces wipe down easily. With four Maine Coon cats, we don’t quite get the full seven-to-ten days of water life it advertises but that’s mostly due to their constant drinking and normal household evaporation. I love that this fountain is cordless so I can place it wherever my cats and I like without it needing to be near an outlet or power strip. The sensor turns both the water flow and the light on, so it may not be ideal in a room where someone is trying to sleep or watching a show in the dark. It turns on properly every time one of my cats approach it, and also when I walk up to it or walk by it. I'll probably pick a final placement where it's easy for the cats to access but isn't on a typical path for me.
