Amazing. It has absolutely no sound when you use the T shaped fountain top. Which I was worried about because I keep my dog’s (Goose, 2 yr old 10 pound male Havanese) food and water station next to the dresser in my room. He is a rescue and he has serious attachment issues and I must be next to him when he eats. But the sound of trickling water drives my fiancé absolutely crazy. I removed the T shaped fountain top just to see what the water flow was like and it’s maybe an inch tall and it does make that water bubbling noise but even then it’s not noticeable unless you’re sitting on the floor next to it. The power cord is maybe 3+ ft long so it’s long enough to plug in behind the dresser and not be seen or tripped over. Setup took 5 min. But that’s only because you have to soak the filter for 5 min before you use it. Other than that it comes completely assembled. The pump has a blu me light on it. You can’t turn the light off. But you can rotate the pump so the blue light faces the back. I rotated mine so that the light shines on the water level line and I could quickly and easily see if it needs to be refilled. The light level is not obnoxious. It’s not gonna light up a room or keep anyone awake etc. it’s very minimal. It appears to flash on the video but in person it does not flash at all. The bowl has a cut out so the water that flows to the top goes back into the bowl to be recycled. In the video you can see the bone shaped tray (not included) has some water on it. The bowl does not leak. I did that when I rinsed off the tray. I 100 % recommend it. I’m actually gonna buy one for my daughters cat.

The seller helped me out after my initial issue and was able to make it right. This is what I call planned obsolence. The light and pump stopped working a few months after I received it so it's out of the return period. Don't buy from this company and go for a better brand please. Don't waste your money.

We’ve only had to clean it a couple of times so far and the smooth plastic surfaces wipe down easily. With four Maine Coon cats, we don’t quite get the full seven-to-ten days of water life it advertises but that’s mostly due to their constant drinking and normal household evaporation. Certainly not a deal breaker for us!

I love that this fountain is cordless so I can place it wherever my cats and I like without it needing to be near an outlet or power strip. The sensor turns both the water flow and the light on, so it may not be ideal in a room where someone is trying to sleep or watching a show in the dark. It turns on properly every time one of my cats approach it, and also when I walk up to it or walk by it. I'll probably pick a final placement where it's easy for the cats to access but isn't on a typical path for me.
